Norfolk Island is a small island in the Pacific Ocean located between Australia, New Zealand and New Caledonia. It has a coastline of 32kms. The climate is subtropical and mild with little seasonal differentiation. The temperature always remains between 10°C to 26°C. The only major natural resource in the island is fish.The Norfolk Island National Park covers almost 10% of the land of the Norfolk Island and mainly contains the remnants of the forests which originally covered the island, including stands of subtropical rainforest.
